Late on Monday, September 8, India’s ODI skipper Rohit Sharma was spotted outside the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. The 38-year-old, who retired from T20I after leading the Indian side to title triumph in Barbados at T20 World Cup 2024, followed by Champions Trophy victory in the UAE in March 2025, has been amid news for various several reasons.
The Indian cricketer, who has now put curtains to his T20I and Test cricketing career, only features in ODI cricket - a format he has shown fondness for. While fans eagerly await Rohit Sharma’s return to the field, he was recently spotted at the Kokilaben Hospital, sparking concern among fans.

However, the details of his visit to the hospital are not known, but fans extended wishes and support towards the India great. Fans looked inquisitive at one end whereas they also inquired why did he visit the hospital as a concern. While a twitterati by the name Varun wrote, “Any problem with him or his family?”, a few others simply inquired of his presence.

Rohit Sharma was recently spotted at Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru where he along with other players of the Indian cricket team underwent fitness tests. While the 38-year-old cleared the tests successfully with a reported score of 19.4, his fitness hogged limelight as he looked to have shed several kilos.
