Abhishek Sharma will now be seen in action again in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 starting September 9. The left-hander recently achieved the number one ranking in ICC for batting in the T20I format. In the last T20I he played for India, Abhishek ended up smashing 135 runs off 54 balls becoming the highest-individual scorer for Men in Blue in the shortest format.
Abhishek also had a good outing while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025. The left-hander amassed 439 runs from 14 matches in IPL 2025 at an average of 33.76 and a strike rate of 193.39. Now, Abhishek set to return in cricketing field after three months as India will look to defend their title in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
