Bangladesh have announced their ODI squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan which will start on March 11. This tour will be held in Bangladesh and with the 2027 World Cup in mind they will be keen to try out their best combinations and look at other options as they prepare for the bigger events. Bangladesh will be without a few pacers like Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Hasan Mahmud for this series both of whom are injured and ruled out for this series. They have announced a 15-member squad for this series and all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead the Bangladesh team for this series.

Afif Hossain has been recalled into the team, the left-hand batter has been out of international action over the last few series but finds his way back after showing some good form in the domestic circuit. The last ODI series Bangladesh played was against West Indies in October 2025 and some notable exclusions from that squad are Nurul Hasan, Jaker Ali and Shamim Hossain.

With Jaker Ali and Nurual Hasan not finding a place in the side, Litton Das returns to the set up as their first choice wicket-keeper. Despite the form of Litton Das not being good in ODIs the chairman of selectors Gazi Ashraf Hossain said ‘’ "There may be questions about Litton Das's recent ODI form, but he has been working closely with the coaches on his game. We believe he can soon produce his best in this format and are considering him as an option to strengthen the middle order." he added.
