Chennai Super Kings have reportedly rejected all trade inquiries for young Rising Superstar Ayush Mhatre before the start of IPL 2027. As per the reports in the media, especially TOI Tamil, five IPL franchises have approached CSK to trade in Ayush Mhatre, with Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Delhi Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad being in the race

Some of the most prominent trade proposals included Hardik Pandya in exchange for Ayush Mhatre and additional monetary compensation. Other trade names involved in talks were T Natarajan, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Salil Arora

However, according to multiple reports, CSK management has entirely declined the offers, stating that he was “not for trade.” Meanwhile, the franchise has reportedly planned to develop Ayush Mhatre into an opening batter for several years and will name him as the next captain of CSK.
