Former India T20i skipper Suryakumar Yadav was seen training hard in the net session. The 2026 World Cup winner is currently out of action and is enjoying fatherhood as he and his wife, Devisha Shetty welcomed their baby girl, Riddhima, in May. However, the Mumbai batter is making sure that he doesn’t get out of practice, and is training intensely in the net sessions. In one such video, the former captain could be seen engaging in intense batting practice at the Varsoo Paranjape Cricket Academy in Mumbai.

He captioned the video, “Make the practice harder than the match. If you put maximum pressure on yourself in the nets, staying calm in the game becomes second nature. Embrace the tough situations! #Preparation #StayPresent” Notably, Yadav has not featured for the Indian team since the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title. He was replaced by Shreyas Iyer at the helm of the T20I side ahead of the Ireland and England tours.
