Another day and another desperate statement from the side of Pakistan that perhaps holds less weight in reality and has more dramatic content in its inception. And this time around, it’s former cricketer of the Pakistani national side Ahmad Shehzad who has shred that if the current captain of their T20 side manages to usurp India or in other words, defeats India, then a mega feast will be offered by him to those in attendance at the venue.

So let us delve a bit deeper and try and understand what this means for the fans and viewers of the game.

In what clearly seems to be a dramatic statement and perhaps shared intentionally to spur on the fans and widen the dramatic discussions that generally surround a India Pakistan games, Ahmad Shehzad’s statement does deserve introspection, funny that it may be:

“If Babar Azam wins the match for Pakistan against India, I will pro river the entire crowd free food!”  

For starters, it’s more of a dramatic rant manufactured perhaps deliberately to get the Indian cricket fans riled up and gang up against Pakistan.

Secondly, instead of having the ends to come up with more intelligent quotes or wise statements that could easily have pertained to Pakistan’s game strategy and key areas on how to topple India, the former Pakistan batter chose to - you could say- manufacture a flimsy quote.

Who does that please and how?

And what is the end need for such borderline diabolical statements?

Have any Indian cricketers ever come up with something that is both amusing and practically dreamy such as the stemenrt levelled by this Pakistani cricketer?
