Indian fast-bowler turned into a hairdresser for his teammate and batter Sarfaraz Khan. In a video, doing rounds on the social media, the bowler was seen styling Khan’s hair. Notably, the Indian senior men’s team is currently touring Sri Lanka for a two-game Test series set to kick off on August 15 at the Galle International Stadium in Galle. Ahead of the Test series, the Men in Blue are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that they dominate their rivals heavily to boost their chances for WTC Final.
However, apart from sweating it out on the field in heavy and intense training sessions, the visitors are also making sure to keep themselves entertained off the field, and one recent picture clearly shows that. In visuals now viral on social media, Siraj was seen giving his fellow player Sarfaraz Khan a haircut. Not only this, but a few other pictures also show that wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant also underwent a hair do from a professional and popular hairdresser.
Could this be Sarfaraz Khan’s Comeback to Indian Cricket?
Notably, Sarfaraz Khan, who was out of India action since November 2024, got his return call after Sai Sudharsan was reported to have suffered a toe injury. His selection came just a day after Khan subtly expressed his frustration of being sidelined from the Test team despite consistent Ranji Trophy performances via a social media post. The Test recall comes after 19 months of being sidelined and ignored for the 28-year-old, but this could be the one that could seal his spot in the Indian squad.
It seems that Khan is already in the mindset of not letting this golden chance to permanently book his spot in the squad slip away. He has landed in Sri Lanka and started his training with the rest of the Indian team before they travel to Galle for the first game of the series. Notably, in the last few months, the batter has shown how serious he is for the role. After getting criticized for being overweight, he got into shape, which has clearly helped him in his cricketing career.
However, it is to be seen if he is able to let his bat do the talking against Sri Lanka or it gives the selectors another reason to move on from him.
