One of the greatest things about the game of cricket is when young talents end up doing something exceptional and remarkable in the brilliant sport. And while much of that happens pretty much all the time with avid youngsters lending their own personality and talent to construct a contest’s identity, shaping the game in their own unique way, there’s something brilliant that happens much rarely. And it’s when very young cricketers who aren’t fully cricketers as of yet, end up doing something remarkable.
This is exactly what actually happened a short while ago that has made headlines and courted attention from all round. A very young Indian cricketer settled in England who is not even ten years of age- yes, you read that right- has done something rather remarkable that has made a ton of headlines.
Apparently, young Rohan, who aspires to be a bowler has ended up taking up 6 wickets in 6 deliveries to strike much of the cricketing media’s attention at this point of time.
But having said that, let us delve deeper into what has happened with Rohan and his remarkable feat-
For starters, Rohan happens to play for the Great Shelford Cricket Club at a destination that isn’t too far away from Cambridge. In a match that was held against Huston that took place just a few hours ago, young Rohan ended up taking a double hat trick.

While taking a single hat trick is in itself a great event, irrespective of what level of competitive cricket that happens, to take a double hat trick is indeed a brilliant and astonishing feat.
Some interesting excerpts from BBC that covered Rohan’s dazzling feat explains much further:
The star bowler told the BBC: "I play for my school team and Great Shelford. I joined when I was around seven. Speaking about his achievement, he said: "It rarely ever happens."
Moreover, in what was a special feat enjoyed thoroughly by his father, here’s what Rohan’s dad further highlighted about the young talent
Rohan's dad, Narain, 54, said it was "truly amazing" to watch his son complete the feat, especially on Father's Day. To get one wicket is a great achievement for someone so young, but wicket after wicket I was so proud," Narain said. “Just him playing at the local cricket team was a great achievement. "I don't think I realised how rare of an achievement it was."
