Royal Challengers Bengaluru were outstanding in the middle overs as CSK were reduced from 50/1 to 74/4 at the end of the ninth over. The required run rate was climbing and CSK needed more than 130 runs of the final 11 overs with MS Dhoni and Rayudu at the crease.
It was a spectacular partnership as these two put up a 100 run stand to take CSK close in the game. Rayudu was dismissed for 82 and Chennai Super Kings needed more than 30 runs of the last two overs. MS Dhoni took Corey Anderson to the cleaners as Chennai Super Kings chased down the target with two balls remaining. MS Dhoni was unbeaten on 70 runs from just 34 balls as he guided CSK to a dramatic win.
