Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja cracked Gautam Gambhir up with his hilarious imitation of spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Jadeja, who returned to India’s Test set-up after a considerable gap, has delivered an all-round performance thus far in the warm-up game against Sri Lanka before the onset of two-match Test series. After picking up two wickets, Jadeja scored a fifty before retiring hurt on 63 off 117 deliveries. Needless to say, it was a treat for netizens and cricket experts to see the vintage performance of the veteran. However, this was not it. Jadeja was equally impressive off-the field as well. 

In a video that has been doing the rounds on social media, the 37-year-old was seen imitating Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling action in a hilarious manner. In the video, he could be seen with head coach Gautam Gambhir outside of India’s dressing room, while his mimicry left the former India opener in splits. In the background, the commentator could be heard saying, “He’s imitating Kuldeep Yadav, I am telling you.” Needless to say, the video quickly went viral on social media, where fans couldn’t help but appreciate Jadeja’s hilarious side despite him being the senior-most player on the tour now. 

Ravindra Jadeja Makes a Mark on Return to Test Set-Up 

Ravindra Jadeja’s comeback was marked with significant contribution, with his two wickets, alongside Yadav and Suthar during the opening day of the warm-up. Jadeja, affectionately called Jaddu, dismissed Ramesh Mendis and Pasindu Sooriyabandara. The all-rounder is a certainty for the opening Test in Galle, forming an integral part of a spin-heavy attack from the visiting side, with Yadav, Suthar, and uncapped Saransh Jain. 

As for the guests, after losing Yashasvi Jaiswal on a duck, stand-in captain KL Rahul and Devdutt Padikkal took reins in their hands and posted 40 and 142*, respectively. Apart from Jadeja, Suthar also put on an all-round showcase of skills with his 90-ball 41 while batters such as Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel failed to make any contributions. By the end of day 2, Gurnoor Brar was batting at 36 alongside the RCB star.
