Strengths

United Arab Emirates have a good set of spinners and a few pacers who can do well with some help from the surface. On tricky pitches their bowling unit is capable of doing well and restricting the opposition.

Weaknesses

UAE do not have the batters to put up above par score on good pitches. Their batting depends a lot on Muhammad Waseem and Alishan Sharafu. The rest of the batters have not been able to do well consistently.

X Factor

Junaid Siddique is an experienced pacer and is very good with the new ball. He has enough variations and has done well in this format. He will be an X factor for UAE in this WT20.

Preferred Playing XI

Aryansh Sharma(w), Muhammad Waseem©, Muhammad Zohaib, Alishan Sharafu, Harshit Kaushik, Muhammad Arfan, Dhruv Parashar, Mayank Kumar, Haider Ali, Junaid Siddique, Muhammad Jawadullah

Key Players to Watch

Muhammad Waseem – The captain of UAE is one of the most capped players of the squad and has an excellent record in this format with more than 3000 runs. He will be crucial at the top of the order.

Aryansh Sharma – He has been in good form leading into this tournament. The wicket-keeper bat scored a half century against Ireland in the last game and will be a player to watchout for in this WT20.
