Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru are into yet another final and this time they will face off against Gujarat Titans in a bid to win their second IPL title. Ahead of the big Final a reunion took place between two legends of RCB when Virat Kohli met his former team mate AB De Villiers. The two shared a laugh and were pictured on the sidelines. These two have had plenty of memorable moments for RCB on the field and are best friends off the field. The pictures soon went viral on social media. Watch the picture here.  

Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers have been part of the RCB unit for 11 years dating from 2011 to 2021. They dominated the IPL and have plenty of milestones and memorable moments. They also have the record for highest partnership in IPL when they slammed 229 run stand against Gujarat Lions back in 2016. Last year when Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the IPL for the first time, AB De Villiers was present in the stadium as a commentator and joined the celebrations after RCB won the championship.

There were plenty of happy tears when Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their first ever title in IPL 2025 after 18 long years. Royal Challengers Bengaluru are one of the most popular teams in the IPL and have a huge fanbase. Ab De Villiers has always been loved in India and fans loved this moment between the duo. AB is part of the commentary team for the IPL final and the dynamic duo shared some special moments before the game.

RCB opt to bowl first, GT lose both their openers

Royal Challengers Bengaluru opted to bowl first after winning the toss at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill however was happy and said that they would have batted first anyway. Gujarat Titans have lost the wicket of both their openers in the powerplay and under pressure. This promises to be an exciting final between these two sides and in front of a packed stadium we are set to witness some great cricket on show.
