Recently a video has gone viral which shows Virat Kohli driving his Defender car outside RCB’s team hotel just a day before the opening match of the IPL. Virat Kohli was spotted wearing a cap and sunglasses with a security personal present outside the car. Fans have taken the video of this and shared on social media which has gone viral. The upcoming season of the Indian Premier League is set to start on 28th March with Royal Challengers Bengaluru taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the opening match. Virat Kohli will be in action for the RCB side who are the defending champions having won the IPL 2025. He played a crucial role in the campaign last year and has been a backbone of the team throughout his IPL career. 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have a really good squad and will be keen to replicate the success of last year once again. Rajat Patidar will lead the side but they will be without Josh Hazlewood for the initial games which is a big blow. However, they have enough depth in the squad to still do a good job. The entire schedule of the IPL was released yesterday. 

Virat Kohli has more than 8500 runs in the history of IPL and will be keen to continue his legacy in the upcoming season. He is currently only part of the ODI side having retired from the other two formats. So when it comes to T20s, Virat was last in action in last year’s IPL and has not played a T20 game since then. It will be interesting to see how Virat Kohli goes about his business in this edition.
