Camreron Green was dismissed by Usman Tariq for 35 runs of 20 balls. He tried to slog a ball to the leg-side but he could not connect it and the leading edge went to point where an easy catch was taken by Shadab Khan. Cameron Green was disappointed and while walking back to the pavilion and gestured the “throwing’’ action of Tariq multiple times. He was clearly not happy with the stop and release points of Usman Tariq and was showing that he was clearly chucking. Ramiz on commentary said ‘’You have to deal with it, as simple as that’’. This is not the first time a player is seen unhappy with the action, in another T20 league a month back another batter had called out Usman Tariq for his action. Watch the video here.

In the past Usman Tariq was suspended from bowing due to chucking and he rectified the action and passed the ICC tests and got his action cleared. But now again players have started to show their disappointment as they feel that the action is not legal. The ICC will review these matches and again try to make a decision. Usman Tariq is also part of Pakistan squad for the upcoming WT20. He bowls off-spin with a big pause during the delivery stride and also delivers the ball from a slingy action which does put questions as to whether he is chucking or not.

Pakistan won the second T20I by 90 runs to take a 2-0 lead in the T20I series. Pakistan were batting first and scored 198/5 in the first innings. In reply, Australia were all-out for 108. Usman Tariq picked up two wickets while Abrar Ahmed scalped three wickets. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha was the player of the match scoring 76 runs of just 40 balls in the first innings to help Pakistan post a big total. Australia have been disappointing in both these matches and they will need to bounce back ahead of the upcoming WT20. Usman Tariq is among the talks again and it will be interesting to see what happens during the WT20 which starts on February 7.
