India Women were up against Australia Women in the only Test match at Perth. India Women were put into bat first and were bowled out for 198 in the first innings. It was a disappointing effort but the Australia Women pacers were too good. It was a pink ball Test between these two sides and India Women lost the advantage as they were bowled out cheaply. In the second innings, Indian Women debutant Sayali Satghare provided a peach to pick up her first ever Test wicket. She bowled an inswinger that left Georgia Voll bamboozled and the stumps were shattered. It was a dream delivery from the pacer and that video went viral on social media. Watch the dismissal here

Sayali Satghare was excellent on her debut picking up two wickets in the eight overs she bowled on Day 1 as India Women tried to make a comeback in the game. The pink ball does move under the lights in the twilight session so that is exactly what happened and this delivery from Sayali pitched outside off and came back in sharply to get the batter bowled.

The celebrations from the pacer was excellent as she enjoyed the wicket and it was her first every Test wicket and to produce a ball like that was simply stuff of genius. The video posted by Cricket Australia twitter account went viral with plenty of fans appreciating the skills and it was by far one of the best balls bowled in this Test.

Earlier in the day, Australian pacers were all over the Indian team as Lucy Hamilton produced a Jaffa to pick the wicket of Smriti and the Australia pacers took nine wickets among them while Gardner picked up one wicket as India Women were bowled out for 196. Jemimah Rodrigues was the only batter to show some fight as she got a half century. In reply, Australia Women are 96/3 at the end of Day 1 of the Women’s Test. This is the lone Test match of the tour and the match is poised nicely and both teams have plenty of play for in the remaining days.
