She recently went to the media, showing that in a video posted by her, Chahal commented on her DM as " cute. Although she didn’t watch it immediately, she later discovered that and didn’t even reply. Immediately, the news went viral, and netizens got divided in their views on this controversy.

Some netizens said that there is no major issue in calling someone cute and then violating privacy by coming into the media to gain fame. Others questioned Chahal and his behaviour, even questioning about Chahal- Dhanasree divorce issue, claiming it was Chahal’s fault.

Taniya Claims Chahal’s PR asked her to delete the viral video

Actress Taniya Chatterjee has made fresh claims that Chahal’s PR contacted her asking to delete the video. She further said that there was no such issue if Chahal called her cute, then why did his PR team contact her to do this after the video went viral?

In an interview with India Forums, when asked about it, Tania said, “What would we talk about? It’s not as if we exchanged numbers on WhatsApp.”

She also said even before this, Chahal contacted her many times, but she didn’t know he was a famous cricketer, so she ignored his messages. She also said that she doesn’t care if the public calls her ‘fake’ or ‘attention seeker’, she knows the truth and has nothing to hide and is upfront about it.
