The Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2025 is being played from 22 July to 28 September. The top 48 teams from the Online Qualifier will compete in the league phase in online mode. The top 12 teams from the league stage will qualify for the Grand Finals, which, according to reports, will be played as an offline LAN event in Lucknow. These teams will battle for the prestigious title and a prize pool of INR 1 Crore.
FFMIC 2025 Grand Finals likely to be played in Lucknow
According to our reports, the highly anticipated FFMIC 2025 Grand Finals will be played in Lucknow, India, from 27 to 28 September. A total of 12 qualified teams from the online league phase will compete in the LAN event for the INR 1 Crore prize pool and to become the first-ever champion of the India Cup.
Notably, Garena is hosting this level of tournament after 3.5 years in India, and this is a great opportunity for top teams to showcase their skills in a LAN event in front of fans. At the time of writing, FFMIC 2025 League Stage Week 2 is being played, where popular teams like Total Gaming Epsorts, Godlike Esports, Team Soul, Reckoning Esports, Revenant XSpark, Vasista Esports, Gods Reign, and Genesis Esports are competing.
League Stage will be played from August 22 to September 14 in two modes - Clash Squad and Battle Royale.
Battle Royale Mode:

18 teams play for 4 weeks in league format.

Top 2 teams from Week 3 Day 1, Day 2, and Week 4 Day 1 go straight to Grand Finals.

Then, 6 more best teams from Week 4 Day 2 also qualify.

In total, 12 teams go to the Battle Royale Grand Finals.
Clash Squad Mode:

After Week 2, top 8 teams from the leaderboard play for 3 days in a Swiss format.

Day 1: Best-of-3 matches.

Day 2: Best-of-5 matches.

Top 4 teams move to the Clash Squad Grand Final.
FFMIC 2025 Grand Finals will take place on September 27 and 28.
Day 1: Top 4 Clash Squad teams play best-of-5 matches to decide the Clash Squad Champion.
Day 2: Top 12 Battle Royale teams compete in Champion Rush format.
Teams earn points during matches. When a team reaches 80 points, they must get a Booyah (win) to become the champion. If no team gets 80 points and a Booyah by match 10, the team with the most points wins.
