S8UL Esports has officially secured qualification in its sixth title at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 after its Free Fire MAX roster earned a place at the global event. The qualification further strengthens the organization's Indian contingent at EWC 2026, which already includes representation in Honor of Kings, Chess, and Trackmania through Indian athletes and rosters, alongside Apex Legends and Fortnite through its international lineups.

Free Fire will return to the Esports World Cup this year, with 24 of the world's best teams competing for a prize pool of USD 1 million (approximately INR 9.4 crore) from July 15 to 18 in Paris, France.

S8UL Qualifies for Free Fire Esports World Cup 2026

S8UL's recently acquired Free Fire MAX roster comprising Naitik Sharma (Troll), Prince Saini (Prinxz), Jay Verma (Bunny), Harshit Nain (Jack07), and Abhishek Gupta (Stiven) secured its place at the tournament with a runner-up finish at the Free Fire MAX India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring. The result earned the team one of three invitations awarded to Indian representatives at the Esports World Cup.

FFMIC 2026 Spring featured a multi-stage qualification process beginning with the City Qualifiers and In-Game Qualifiers before progressing through the Group Stage, Knockout Stage, Point Rush, and Champion Rush. Hundreds of teams entered the competition, with only a select few advancing to the final stages.

Led by Prinxz, S8UL’s roster began its campaign through the qualifiers before progressing through each stage of the competition. delivered a steady campaign throughout the tournament. The team accumulated 186 points in Knockout Stage Week 1 to finish sixth overall before maintaining its momentum through Week 2 and securing a place among the contenders for the championship stages.

The roster saved its best performance for Champion Rush. After earning three Headstart Points in Point Rush, the team produced a consistent display across eight matches, collecting 131 points and two Booyahs to finish second overall. Alongside INR 17 lakh in prize money, the result secured S8UL's place at the EWC 2026 and marked another major achievement for the roster.

In addition to Free Fire MAX, the following athletes and rosters will represent S8UL at EWC 2026:

  • Apex Legends: Benjamin Spaseski (Jesko), Rick Wirth (Sharky), and Thomas Canty (Legacy)

  • Chess: Aravindh Chithambaram and Nihal Sarin

  • Fortnite: David Ciubotariu (Faded) and Kaan Tafli (Kaan)

  • Honor of Kings: Ang Xin Hao (Kong), Hayrambh Monga (Meruem), Prabhat Mahato (Xtreme), Rahul Lavhate (Kyurem), Saurabh Jagadale (Kael), and Suyog Paudel (Doofy)

  • Trackmania: Alexander Page (Whizzy), Kunal Upreti (Spark), and Neal Kamdar (Neal)

With qualification now confirmed across six titles, S8UL continues to expand its EWC 2026 campaign and remains in contention for qualification in EA SPORTS FC, Fatal Fury, Street Fighter 6, and Tekken 8.

Scheduled to take place from July 6 to August 23, EWC 2026 will feature a record-breaking prize pool of USD 75 million (~INR 714 crore) and bring together more than 2,000 players representing 200 clubs from over 100 countries.
