Tamil Thalaivas have reached Jaipur to play their maiden match of the second-leg game of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 against Bengal Warriorz on September 12. From Tamil’s camp in Jaipur, their captain Pawan Sehrawat was missing. Thalaivas have completed their campaign in the first leg and they are now in the frail position. With two points earned through only one win in three matches, they are in the 10th spot on the tally. In the second round, they have to be at their best to consolidate their campaign in the competition.
With Sehrawat not recording his presence in Jaipur, Tamil Thalaivas supporters are anxious about their team and the absence of the veteran. The star raider has struggled to be effective this season as he scored 22 points in three matches at raid points of 7.33. However, his team’s fans will want him to be impactful to help Jaipur make a comeback in the tournament.
Tamil Thalaivas campaign so far in PKL 2025
In the first leg of PKL 2025, Tamil Thalaivas looked confident in the first game as they beat Telugu Titans in the opening match by a 38-35 margin. Narender Hoshiyar was their star player in the game as he chipped in with the victory with 10 points. In the second match, they got hammered by 36-33 figures against U Mumba.
However, they were expected to be dominating in the third match against Gujarat Giants but they again failed to be at their best and recorded a 28-37 defeat. However, ignoring previous failures, Thalaivas will strive to start their second leg campaign with a victory against Bengal Warriorz, who are at the bottom of the points table currently with only two points in four outings.
