Jorge Jesus is reportedly set to take charge of Saudi Pro League (SPL) club Al-Nassr from next season. Al Nassr, who sacked their former manager Stefano Pioli after not managing to win a silverware during the last campaign, are now set to sign the 70-year-old from their rivals Al Hilal. The club will be looking to reach new heights with the massive experience of someone like Jorge Jesus taking charge of the team.

The Portuguese Manager & former player has previously managed teams like Al Hilal, Fenerbahce, Benfica, Flamengo & Sporting CP. Jesus is expected to sign the final contract in Madrid next week, after already reaching an agreement with the club. It is to be noted that he is no stranger to the Saudi Pro League and Al Nassr believes that the Portuguese has the experience to help the club win a silverware.

Al-Nassr is seeking a coach with a proven track record of winning trophies. The club is offering Jesus a contract running until 2027, while salary and other terms remain under negotiation between both parties. Jorge Jesus parted ways with Al-Hilal at the end of the season following a challenging spell, despite having secured the league title with them two seasons ago. He is ready for a new challenge in his managerial career and will look forward to making the most of the strong squad already at his disposal, led by one of the best players in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently extended his contract for two more years.

The Portuguese manager was briefly linked with the Brazil national team role after leaving Al-Hilal, however Brazil eventually appointed Carlo Ancelotti once his exit from Real Madrid became official.
