The Indian men and women's cricket team are set to travel to the United Kingdom together for their respective assignments. Prior to that, the members of the contingent have been asked to report in Mumbai where they will undergo a mandatory quarantine prior to boarding the flight to England. The BCCI has even arranged charter flights from three venues to Mumbai and based on personal convenience and distance, the players have been asked to come to Mumbai either by road or flight.

And now the Indian cricket board has shared pics of several cricketers on their way to Mumbai. The picture shows the likes of Mayank Agarwal, R Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar and Mithali Raj in an aircraft. The post was simply captioned "First stop, Mumbai."

BCCI negotiates soft quarantine for Indian cricketers in England

The BCCI is reportedly still in talks with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as well as local government authorities to allow a soft quarantine for Indian players which will give them a chance to train. Meanwhile, quarantine regulations for the families travelling with the contingent are also being worked out upon. While Indian men's team will take on New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final on June 18, the women's side will face England in a one-off Test starting June 16.

Amidst all this, former England captain Michael Vaughan has predicted a clear winner for the ICC World Test Championship final.

"New Zealand (will win). English conditions, the Duke ball, and India on the back of a busy schedule," he told Spark Sport.
