India might have lost their chance to appear in the Asia Cup 2022 final but registered a massive 101 runs victory against Afghanistan in their Super Fours fixture on Thursday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Twitter was set a buzz as Virat Kohli scored his 71st international ton and helped India secure a win.
Batting first, Team India set a target of 213 runs as KL Rahul (62) and Virat Kohli (122*) combined for a 119-run partnership for the opening wicket. During Afghanistan's batting, Indian seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar ran riot as he picked five wickets and removed half of the Afghanistan batters in the powerplay.
