The BGIS developers Krafton India Esports unveiled the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Week 1 teams. The Grind Week 1 Groups and teams’ announcements have created a buzz in the esports industry and the entire gaming community. The competition would come with a huge prize pool of ₹2 crore. The tournament will begin with The Grind, which is a qualifying event slated to commence on April 4.

The event will feature a total of 256 invited teams, who will engage in competition to secure their spot in the top 64. Those teams will advance to the main event of BGIS. To make sure that teams perform well over the four weeks to advance to the next stage. Those qualified teams will secure their spot in the BGIS 2024, based on their overall performance.
The action will be live on the Krafton India Esports YouTube channel from 3:30 pm IST in multiple languages. The names of the teams divided into several groups including,
