Interview with BGMI Fan Who Built a Real-Life Buggy

Q: Are you a gamer, and how long have you been playing BGMI?

A: Yes, I am a gamer, and I have been playing BGMI since 2021. I started playing during the Covid-19 period. Currently, I am working as a technician in Indian Railways.

Q: Where did you get the idea to make a buggy?

A: I got the idea to make a buggy because, as I told you, I am a welder. I wanted to enhance my welding skills, so I bought a welding machine. I have been playing BGMI since 2021. I like the buggy and thought of recreating it in real life. It is a very crazy vehicle, so I started working on it. That’s where I got the idea to make a buggy in real life.

Q: Where did you make all the parts?

A: First of all, I bought pipes, ropes, and material from outside and made a frame. Some parts, like the hub of an old car, I bought from scrap. I bought the engine from a very old bike—a Pulsar 150cc. I have used the engine and shock absorbers from an old car and bike. I have bought some old parts, and I have also used some new nuts and bolts.

Q: As you said, you work in Railways. How did you manage your job while making the buggy?

A: I used the leaves that I get yearly. After that, I started going home on weekly rest. There are some national holidays, so I used to manage with them.

Q: How long did it take you to make the buggy?

A: When I made the frame in the beginning, I started in July last year (2025). Now, I have completed it this year (2026). So, you can say that it took me 10 months to a year.

Q: How did the BGMI Krafton India help you in making the buggy?

A: The BGMI team has helped me a lot. When I started posting on Instagram, I used to tag BGMI regularly. People used to tag me in the comments as well. Someone from their team reached out to me. After that, they supported me technically. They also supported me in making the buggy look professional.

Q: How did you get the idea of making a buggy? Do you have other vehicles as well?

A: Yes, I used to find the buggy crazy. When I used to play the game, I used the buggy a lot. I didn’t use other vehicles as much. I felt that my welding skills were enhanced while working on the buggy. I chose the buggy because it had more frames and pipes. I was already crazy about it.

Q: Are you planning to make any other vehicles in the future?

A: I haven’t thought about it yet. I am thinking of making another BGMI vehicle. If not, I’ll make something else like a go-kart. I will keep making something or the other.
