
Only 13.2 overs were bowled on day one of the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between Australia and India at the Gabba in Brisbane, due to persistent rain and wet outfield. Batting first after losing the toss, Australia were 28/0 in 13.2 overs before the rain decided to play a spoilsport. However, the fans who came to watch the match live in the stadium will get a relief as Cricket Australia is set to give a full refund on their tickets.
As per the policies by Cricket Australia, the spectators are eligible to get a 100% refund for a day of a Test match if less than 15 overs have been bowled in a day. Now, as only 13.2 overs were bowled on day one of the Gabba Test, all the spectators who were present at the stadium on day one are now eligible for a full refund.

Talking about the match, Australia had scored 28/0 in 13.2 overs before the match was stopped due to persistent rain. Usman Khawaja is unbeaten on 19*(47), while Nathan McSweeney has scored 4*(33) runs so far. For India, Akash Deep, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj have bowled the overs so far. Currently the series is levelled at 1-1, and both teams have a chance of taking a lead of 2-1 in a five-match Test series.
India took a lead of 1-0 with a dominant 295-run victory in the first Test in Perth. Stand-in skipper Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged player of the match taking wickets in the match, Apart from that, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul also shone with the bat. However, Australia made a comeback in the day-night Test in Adelaide, and defeated India by 10 wickets. Player of the match, Travis Head scored a match-winning 140 runs, while skipper Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland did the job with ball.
