The third last race of the 2023 F1 world championship takes the drivers and fans to Brazil. The São Paulo-bound Brazilian Grand Prix is a race like no other; legends have raced here and icons of the sport have lifted world titles.

The F1 vibe here, truth be told, is completely different and similar to no other track where it comes to Brazil.

Ask Sir Lewis Hamilton, for instance, about the significance of his imposing 2021 victory, where he came from the rear of the pack to defeat Max Verstappen here in what was a truly memorable win for the Mercedes giant.

Probably, the great Senna himself, local hero, would’ve nodded in approval upon seeing his biggest admirer’s victory.

As high speed as it is competitive, even legends like Kimi Raikkonen, the sport’s Iceman, have tasted the ultimate glory here.

But that was back in 2007; F1 is wired in the now. And where it comes to the present, then there’s little doubt that Max Verstappen, who begins from the front row but not before winking the sprint race, is the main driver to watch.

The number of times the famed Dutchman has driven his sensational Red Bull past the checkered flag is purely sensational. How about one more time? With Ferrari’s Leclerc in second and Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll poised to begin from third on the grid, the 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix promises a fascinating contest. Alonso, the tireless lion of the sport, begins from fourth as the great Lewis Hamilton, who won his maiden title here in 2008, starts in fifth.

The circuit named after Jose Carlos Pace, who died in 1977, is all set to witness the fiftieth instalment of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Hopefully, there’ll be tons of overtaking at a track where it’s not at all easy to maintain the race lead and where it would seem Verstappen will be very hard to beat.

He’s previously won at Interlagos as well back in 2019. Can he win the 2023 Brazilian GP and impose himself on the rest of the grid, which isn’t something that is hard for the Red Bull ace?

Perhaps the die hard observer of the sport would know the answer. But then, who knows what may happen in the next few hours over the course of 71 laps?

SportsTiger reckon it’s Max Verstappen’s race to lose.

Having said so, SportsTiger requests you to place your bets cautiously and wisely, and be mindful that gambling can be addictive and harmful in the end.
