Mumbai cricketer Sarfaraz Khan has been ruling the 2022 edition of the Ranji Trophy as he is the highest run-getter so far in the season. He has also scored three big hundreds so far, the latest of which came against Uttarakhand in the Quarterfinal match. Khan scored a brilliant 153 and formed a massive partnership with Suved Parkar for the fourth wicket.
Not only in this edition, but Sarfaraz Khan also scored a lot of runs in the previous edition of the red-ball tournament. The Mumbai batter aggregated 928 runs across 9 innings in the Ranji Trophy 2019-20. There was also a triple century scored that season by Sarfaraz Khan and he averaged over 150. In the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy, Khan is averaging around 140 and there are still two games left (if Mumbai reach the final).

These terrific performances from Sarfaraz Khan are earning him loads of praise from everywhere. Fans are even calling him the ‘Bradman’ of the Indian domestic circuit. Meanwhile, a section of fans is also demanding his inclusion into the Indian Test setup citing his mind-bobbling FC numbers. Notably, Sarfaraz Khan currently has over 2100 runs in 33 innings and averages over 77.
