Activision has recently confirmed that the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship will return for the 2023 season. The stage 1 and 2 qualifiers for the CODM World Championship will be conducted regionally in multiple stages. All gamers who register for the Championship will receive a weapon skin, calling card, an all-new frame and additional rewards for earning points in ranked matches.
Only the players who earn more than 100 points in ranked games will be eligible to qualify for stage 2. The competition will begin from April 27 and will go on till June 4.
The final dates for the CODM World Championship 2023 are as follows:
Stage 1: April 27 UTC – May 14 UTC
Stage 2 - Pre-heat: May 19 UTC – May 21 UTC
Stage 2: May 22 UTC – June 4 UTC
Players from North America who qualify for stage 2 after winning stage 1 can opt for a special sweepstake in order to win a signed football from world champion footballer Lionel Messi.
New challenges and events:
Season 4 introduces new seasonal challenges and events that award Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Battle Pass XP, the new Dauntless Perk, and the Makarov Pistol, among other things.
The new dauntless perk can grant immunity from movement reducing and burn effects. This can counter the thrown elements like molotovs, thermites and concussion grenades. The Makarov is a powerful pistol which makes an excellent secondary weapon for a fallback in close situations if the primary rifle runs out of ammo.
