In a bombshell news from the world of tennis, the stalker of Emma Raducanu has got caught while trying to apply for tickets for Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the year, which will be played later this month. It is understood that the security system of the All England Club had the name of the stalker red-flagged apart from being blocked in an attempt to take part in the public ballot for the tournament tickets.

The stalking incident - which happened after a series of events - had left Emma Raducanu in tears, hiding behind the umpire’s chair, when she saw the stalker inside the stadium during a match against Czechia’s Karolina Muchova at the Dubai Tennis Championships in February of this year before he was removed from there. Just a day before the incident, the British tennis player, who is just 22 years of age, had received a letter from the same man before he asked for a photo from her in a coffee shop.

I literally couldn't see the ball through tears. I could barely breathe: Emma Raducanu's reaction on stakling incident

This moment had unnerved Emma Raducanu, as per the report from BBC Sport, since she was aware about the man’s presence at tournaments in Singapore, the UAE, and Qatar, in the weeks leading up to the stalking incident at Dubai Tennis Championships. The eventual heartbreaking moment in Dubai led to the city police detaining the stalker, giving him a restraining order apart from his name getting distributed to the tennis authorities.

In the post-match interview after the stalking incident, an emotional Emma Raducanu was quoted as saying to the reporters, “I saw him in the first game of the match and I was like, ‘I don't know how I'm going to finish’. I literally couldn't see the ball through tears. I could barely breathe. I was like, ‘ need to just take a breather’.” Now, just a few months later, the mere intention from the stalker to keep going to tennis events shows how cruel he must be as a person, not only towards Emma Raducanu, but also his near and dear in all likelihood.
