For the longest time possible, it has been a widely documented and well known fact that Kick Sauber, currently contesting in the Formula 1 2025 season, will become Audi in the brand new team in the FIA World Championship next year . And this key transformation will birth another brand new German team in the annals of Motorsport's top flight. But what wasn't quite known insofar was with which leading title sponsors would Audi field its team for the next season.
That too, however, has found an answer as Audi just recently announced its title sponsor starting the FIA F1 2026 season. As a matter of fact, a constant slew of preparations continue to take place in order for the German car manufacturer to morph the 2025's Sauber team into its own works so that a new entry can be initated into the F1 world from the start of 2026. That's even as many are calling it a coup of sorts.
So just what big partner is Audi planning to enter Formula 1 with in 2026?
It's been confirmed that Revolut will be stepping into action in the capacity of F1 sponsorship in the form of Audi’s title partner. This new move, however, will mark an end of Sauber's current association with betting partners - Stake!
On the highly significant development, the following were the remarks of the venerable Audi CEO Gernot Doellner: "Audi is entering Formula 1 with a clear ambition: to use the platform as a technologically relevant and economically sustainable investment in the future of the Audi brand."
For the longest time possible, F1 fans were debating whether a German driver will actually be fielded by what is going to be essentially a German team and to that end, it's highly satisfying to note that Kick Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg, a German national, will take up the driving duties for the brand new forthcoming F1 team.
Banking on the firm's ethos of constant development and a surge towards innovation, Audi are all praise for Revolut and who knows that together the dynamic pairing in the F1 world could amplify the reach and success of a team that most will keenly follow with unbridled passion.
