The 19-year-old became the first player born in 2004 or later to enter the top 50.

Meanwhile, former world No. 3 Stan Wawrinka made a remarkable comeback into the top 50, jumping 23 spots to No. 49 for the first time in the last two years after reaching his first final in Umag. The Swiss veteran, who had been sidelined by injuries and surgeries for most of the past two years, showed glimpses of his old form as he defeated four opponents in straight sets before falling to Australian Alexei Popyrin in the title match.

Other notable movers in the rankings include Alexei Popyrin, who moved 33 places and is now close to cracking the top 50 at No. 57. After a quarterfinal appearance at the Atlanta Open, Wimbledon quarter-finalist Christopher Eubanks further moved up three places to No. 29.
The top 10 remained unchanged from last week, with Carlos Alcaraz leading the pack with a narrow lead over second-ranked Novak Djokovic. The Serbian star has won two of the three Grand Slam titles this year and will aim to get another under his belt at the US Open.
The rest of the top 10 consists of Daniil Medvedev at No. 3, Casper Ruud at No. 4, Stefanos Tsitsipas at No. 5, Holger Rune at No. 6, Andrey Rublev at No. 7, Jannik Sinner at No. 8, Taylor Fritz at No. 9, and Frances Tiafoe taking the No. 10.
