It was a day for all-rounders at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Mini Auction and Cameron Green got benefited from it. The Australian all-rounder who has been in limelight for his recent exploits against India fetched a massive 17.5 CR at the IPL 2023 Auction. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians, who could not get Sam Curran went bonkers after Green and eventually secured his services. Notably, Green was MI’s most expensive purchase at an IPL auction.
A few other franchises also looked interested in getting Green but MI had made their mind made up. But in the process, MI almost exhausted their purse amount as they now have only 3.05 Crores left. This made a few fans believe that MI overspent on Green. Meanwhile, a few Mumbai Indians’ fans looked happy with the purchase.
