3. India in 2010 Asia Cup:
untitled 12010 Asia Cup saw only four teams (India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh) participate in that tournament with all teams playing three games in round-robin style in the group stage and the top two teams played the finals of the event.

India won two out of three games in the group stage of the tournament and qualified for the finals of the tournament to face Sri Lanka. 

The Sri Lanka team were Asia Cup winners in the 2004 & 2008 editions and also remained unbeaten throughout the group stage in the 2010 edition, but to everyone's surprise, they lost the final game to the Indian team on their home soil.

Indian team results in 2010 Asia Cup:
Beat Bangladesh by 6 wickets in Dambulla - Group Stage
Beat Pakistan by 3 wickets in Dambulla - Group Stage
Lost to Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in Dambulla - Group Stage
Beat Sri Lanka by 81 runs in Dambulla - Finals

Unlike, Previous two editions this time India went on to win the 2010 Asia Cup edition with the help of collective performance from the team under MS Dhoni's leadership.

India will be playing both of their group-stage games at Pallekele against Pakistan and Nepal. In the past Indian team have won all three ODIs that they played at Pallekele so far.
