The 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League is nearing the end of its league stage and approaching the knockout stage. As per the schedule of the IPL 2024, Qualifier 1 is set to be played on May 21, whereas on May 22, Eliminator will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Speaking of the Qualifier 2, it will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 24, Friday.
The top two teams will be up for the last and final battle of the season on May 26, Sunday, at the same stadium in Chennai. With less than a week to go before the knockout stage of the tournament, the BCCI announced the start of ticket sales for the highly anticipated playoff games. Cricket lovers who want to book tickets for the games need to keep a few points in mind:
- Fans can start purchasing tickets for the games from May 14, and the RuPay Card holders will get an exclusive chance to book the tickets with early access.
- For those without the RuPay cards, tickets will go live on May 15, Wednesday. For the grand finale of the cricketing extravaganza, ticket sales will commence on May 20.
- Those who don’t have access to RuPay Cards will be able to buy tickets from May 21. The tickets will be available on the official website of IPL, Paytm App, Paytm Insider App, and Insider.in from 6 pm IST.
Steps to buy IPL 2024 playoff tickets
- Visit any of the aforementioned websites or platforms. Or simply search insider.in/ipl-indian-premier-league in your search box.
- It will land you directly to the ticket-booking window, with three separate windows classified based on the match.
- Click on ‘Buy Now’ for any game you want to attend, and further click on the same option on the next page you have landed on.
- Next, a window will appear in the stadium’s layout, with several price ranges below.
- Click on the range you wish to buy your tickets in, and it will highlight the arena in which you can book your seats in.
- Click on the highlighted arena, and a window with the seats’ layout will open.
- Select your desired seat, and next, you will be required to fill in your details.
- Complete formalities, insert your address, and you will be directed to the payments page, where you will be asked to fill in your RuPay card details. Congratulations, you have successfully booked your tickets.
