2011 World Cup winner Suresh Raina put forth a big wish while commentating on the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals. While speaking on air, Raina expressed that he hopes to see RR star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and KKR finisher Rinku Singh in the upcoming 50-over World Cup hosted by India.
While commentating for Jio Cinema, Rainia had said, " I want to see Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh in World Cup." As Raina was on the air, Yashasvi Jaiswal hit the fastest half-century in IPL history as he needed just 13 balls to reach this milestone. So far in the IPL season, Jaiswal has hit over 450 runs this season while Rinku Singh has scored 337 runs while playing as a finisher.
Going back to the KKR vs RR game, Rajasthan Royals completed a stunning nine-wicket win and made a massive jump on the points table. The star of this match was Yasha svi Jaiswal, who finished the game at a score of 98 in 48 balls with 13 fours and five sixes.
This stunning performance also won him the Player of the Match award and spoke about winning the game was the only thing on his mind.
