Los Angeles Lakers outclassed Minnesota Timberwolves in their Western Conference seventh-seed play-in match on Tuesday night at the Crypto.com Arena as LeBron James, Dennis Schroder, and Anthony Davis displayed tremendous performances. The Lakers will now face Memphis Grizzlies in the first-round NBA Playoffs and the Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks is looking forward to playing against the all-time NBA points leader.
LeBron James, 38, registered a game-high 30 points with 57.1% from the field and 50% from the three-point, while guard Dennis Schroder registered 21 points with three-off-four three-pointers and Anthony Davis scored 24 points with 15 rebounds.
Ahead of their first-round playoff match against the Lakers, Brooks confidently claimed that his team will knock LeBron James and his side out of the contest. He said in an interview, "I wouldn't mind playing LeBron (James) in a seven-game series. The legacy is there. First time back in the playoffs, knock him out right away. It'll test us good. They got good pieces, good players. That'll be a good 1st-round matchup for us."
