The International Cricket Council (ICC) has reportedly banned Jarvo from attending World Cup matches this year. The decision came after he invaded the fifth fixture of the CWC 2023 played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8, Sunday. Notably, Daniel Jarvis, better known as Jarvo, is an English YouTuber and serial pitch invader, who came into spotlight, when he invaded the pitch during England vs India Test series in 2021 thrice.

Jarvo invaded the field and interrupted the game in all fixtures played during the series, and the reason he got the identity was because of his jersey. The invader donned the Indian Test jersey and had Jarvo 69 written on it. To everyone’s surprise, a picture of him went viral from the India vs Australia fixture played in Chennai on Sunday.

As per sources, the international cricket governing body has decided to ban Jarvis from attending any of the World Cup 2023 fixture. However, the ICC hasn’t released any official statement as of now. Talking about the match, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. The Pat Cummins side took on their rivals with a hope to seek vengeance of their defeat in the three-match ODI series played in India last month.

The CWC 2023 hosts seemed to be in a fiery form and the collective efforts of their bowling department restricted the Aussies at 199. On the Indian side, skipper Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the innings. Notably, the Indian opener Shubman Gill missed India's opening match due to bad health.
