On Saturday, June 7, World No. 2, Coco Gauff defeated top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka 6-7 (7-5), 6-2, 6-4 to win her first-ever French Open title at the Court Philippe Chatrier in Paris. The US American star got the better of the Belarusian top-seed in a three-set thriller to win her only second Grand Slam title with her first coming at the US Open two years ago.

After her title triumph, the 21-year-old took out a handwritten note, which she later shared on her Instagram story, which had a motivating message written on it. The paper had, “I will win French Open 2025…. I will win French Open 2025” scribbled multiple times. She had also written, “Ignore my handwriting but I saw @gabbythomas do this. Had to do the same lol.”

If you can dream it, you can do it: Coco Gauff shares her manifestation from June 2021

Notably, the note had her inspiration from three-time Olympic medallist Gabby Thomas, whose affirmation technique also came to a reality. In other Instagram story, the America star player also shared her dream, dating back to June 2021, which came into reality on Saturday, June 7. While it had been a night to remember for Gauff, in her next story she revealed what she had written in 2021.

“I had a dream last night that I will win french open idk if it is true or if it is this years french open but it had a dream abt it,” the US prodigy wrote. What caught the attention was the message was dated June 8, 2021. Resharing her message, Guaff showed faith on the manifestation technique, stating, “ignore the typos but look at date. If you can dream it, you can do it.”

It is to be noted that Gauff played with determination whereas Sabalenka made some unforced errors, which counted to be 70. Gauff continued to dominated despite pressure from the Belarusian, and in the decider, we saw the best of the American as she cruised past to register her maiden Roland Garros title win.
