Team India have recently announced their updated 15-member squad for the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 and made a notable change in the squad as veteran all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin replaced injured Axar Patel in the squad. India are scheduled to face England and the Netherlands in warm-up games before commencing their World Cup campaign.

Team India will begin their World Cup campaign against Australia at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on October 8. Ahead of their World Cup opener, India will face England on September 30 at the  Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati following their second warm-up game against the Netherlands on October 3 at the  Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Talking about Axar Patel, the left-arm spinning all-rounder will need at least 3 more weeks to recover.
