India are now in a do-or-die situation in the ongoing Test series against New Zealand. The hosts suffered a crushing 8-wicket defeat in the first Test in Bengaluru. After getting bowled out for 46 runs in the first innings, India showed a great fight in the second innings but couldn’t set a big target for New Zealand as the Kiwis registered their first Test win in India after 36 years.
Now, India have no option but to win the second Test to prevent a Test series loss at home after 12 years. The second Test will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune from October 24 to 28.
