The highly anticipated inaugural edition of the International Masters League (IML) has now been pushed back with it set to be held in the first quarter of 2025. The decision was communicated by the officials on Wednesday, October 30 with the inaugural edition initially set to get underway from November 17 at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
The T20 tournament which was set to be played from November 17 till December 8, would take the world by storm, bringing together legendary cricketers from six cricketing powerhouses, namely India, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, South Africa and West Indies across three Indian cities in Mumbai, Lucknow and Raipur.

As per the details communicated by sources close to SportsTiger, “this decision, necessitated by recent announcements and taken into close consultation with local authorities, ensures compliance with government protocols and legal requirements.” Moreover, the concerned authority added that the revised details around the tournament be shared shortly after discussions with partners, broadcasters and players.
“A revised schedule for the IML will soon be released in collaboration with our partners, broadcasters, and players. The IML organising committee extends its appreciation to all Masters, stakeholders, partners, and fans for their understanding and enthusiasm,” the statement further added.
