Gujarat Titans have beaten Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets in the inaugural IPL game with the help of brilliant performance from both Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill respectively. Talking about this game, GT winning the toss invited CSK to bat first and they posted a total of 178/7 in 20 overs with the help of brilliant 92 run knock from Ruturaj Gaikwad and skipper MS Dhoni played a small cameo of unbeaten 14 runs from 7 balls in the end.
Shubman Gill's stylish knock off 63 runs from 36 balls clearly set the tone for Gujarat team in run-chase and along with Gill, both Sai Sudharsan and Vijay Shankar played a vital role as well. Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia finished off the match in style when team was under pressure to chase down 18 runs from last 9 deliveries.
