The Gujarat Titans (GT) are currently taking on table-toppers, Delhi Capitals (DC) in the first match of the final double-header Saturday in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad on April 19. However, the Titans are coming into this fixture after going down against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), they will hope to get back to winnings ways as the tournament gets into a crucial stage.

For the unversed, the GT skipper, Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to field first. At the toss, Gill also shared a positive update on star pacer Kagiso Rabada, who has returned home mid-season due to a personal reasons. However, further details of the same are not known, Gill shared an update on Rabada’s return.

When enquired by Ravi Shastri on Kagiso Rabada’s return, Gill quickly replied, “Hopefully, Rabada will come back in 10 days or so.” The South African pacer returned home after just playing two games for GT in the IPL 2025. Earlier, ahead of the GT vs DC clash, assistant coach Aashish Kapoor also opened up on Rabada’s absence.

"We are just waiting for him. He might return. He's got some family, personal problems, for which he's gone. Once he's sorted out with that, if it's sorted out in time, he will be back. But we don't know when. We are just waiting as everyone is," Kapoor said on the eve of the match.
