Team India is up against England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022 at Adelaide Oval on November 10 (Thursday). While Rohit Sharma opted for the same team with Rishabh Pant continuing as the first-choice wicketkeeper, England skipper Jos Buttler notified about two notable changes in the squad. Dawid Malan and Mark Wood were left out due to their respective injuries and Phil Salt and Chris Jordan were named as their replacements for a high-stake game in Adelaide.

While the English cricket fraternity must be hoping for the changes to work well in the favor of England cricket, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan raised serious doubts over the exclusion of Mark Wood from the squad and made shocking claims regarding the result of the game.

In his tweet, Vaughan wrote, "Huge blow for England. Wood not fit..!! India are now favorites." Vaughan's tweet drew a lot of attention from all quarters, but the best response came from former Indian middle-order Wasim Jaffer. Known for his witty social media responses, Wasim Jaffer humorously urged Rishi Sunak, newly appointed Prime Minister of United Kingdom to kindly put mobile signal jammer in Yorkshire for next few hours.

"Hi @RishiSunak! Kindly request you to put a mobile signal jammer in Yorkshire for next few hours. I'm sure it'll be seen as a goodwill gesture towards India. Thanks," read Jaffer's tweet.

Speaking of the India vs England match, Jos Buttler invited India to bat first after winning the toss. Team India got a steady start as Rohit Sharma (27 off 28) and Virat Kohli (26* off 23) stitched a brief partnership in the middle before the former got dismissed by Chris Jordan in the 8.5 overs.

Meanwhile, Chris Woakes provided the first breakthrough to his side as he dismissed Indian opener KL Rahul (5 off 5) way too early in the game. At the time of submission, the copy, Virat Kohli (26* off 23) and Suryakumar Yadav (3* off 4) are currently trying to put India in a commanding position.
