Krunal Pandya is having one his most emotional times in the field of cricket. The southpaw made his ODI debut for India in ongoing first ODI match against England. Such was the joy of the moment that Krunal broke down into tears after getting his maiden ODI cap. The emotional moment is still not over for the player as he once again started crying after his unbeaten 58 off 31 against England in the game.
After his knock, Krunal, while attending the interview post India's innings, couldn't say a single word for a while he got so emotional. He later recollected himself and could only say, "This one is for my dad. I did get emotional." After the interview, Krunal went back to his younger brother Hardik Pandya — who is also playing the ongoing first ODI between India and England — and started crying after hugging him. Hardik, meanwhile, tried to console his elder brother.

Krunal's unbeaten 58 off 31 along with KL Rahul's 62 off 43 guided India to 317/5 in their stipulated quota of 50 overs. The Men in Blue were struggling at 205/5 in 40.3 overs when the southpaw stepped in and played a valiant knock to inspire India to a fighting total.
