YouTuber Keemstar recently revealed on Twitter that popular influencers Logan Paul and KSI will commit to fighting separate bouts on the same boxing card for October14. The card will be hosted in Manchester, England and is set to be the biggest influencer boxing event of the year. The event is being dubbed the Prime card due to the pair’s investment in Prime Hydration, which is a company offering a range of sports drinks and is partnered with huge European clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal. It has not been revealed at the moment if the fights are to be exhibition fights or pro fights.
In his tweet, Keemstar said that the entire card would be filled with massive fights which will leave fans of influencer boxing wanting more. The highlights will, of course, be KSI’s and Logan Paul’s fights, though the YouTuber assured fans that the rest of the card was stacked as well. As of now the opponents for the two popular influencers has not been revealed, and Logan Paul revealed that while he knows who he will be fighting, he thinks it is still too early to let the public know, though the 28-year-old said that all will be revealed soon.
Keemstar said, “So obviously I have the inside scoop y’all! This KSI & Logan Paul card on Oct 14th is like the Super Bowl of influencer Boxing! (FOR REAL) The entire card & prelims we be the best fights you can imagine. Like it’s stacked beyond belief.”
KSI and Paul to fight on same night since bout in 2018
Logan Paul and KSI are set to fight on the same night for the first time since the two faced off in 2018. Many fans of celebrity boxing will look at this upcoming card with a hint of nostalgia, as it was this fight nearly five years ago that really jump started the influencer boxing movement in a big way. Paul and KSI are both pioneers in this regard and it will be interesting to see how they get on.
Paul said, “It's been so long since I had a boxing fight, and I feel like I've kind of been left out of the conversation. But I don't train wrestling. I train boxing. I practice for my matches a couple times, but it's not like I'm doing WWE training. I've been behind the scenes just boxing for the past two years, so I'm so excited to finally get back in the ring and show people how good I really am at the sport."
Paul last fought Floyd Mayweather in 2021 and has since not fought in a big boxing event. KSI is more ‘ready’ than Logan and is coming off a fight against Joe Fournier in May of this year, which the Englishman won by knockout in the second round.
