Marcus Rashford, the England and Manchester United forward, who is currently playing on loan for Aston Villa, reportedly feels that his days at the Old Trafford are done in all likelihood under manager Ruben Amorim. After being loaned out to the West Midlands club till the end of the season, the 27-year-old has improved on his performances, which is why he has once again become a sought-after player for the summer transfer window, but he isn’t going to make a decision about his future too quickly.

Notably, following his arrival at Aston Villa at the start of this past February, Marcus Rashford has scored four goals and provided six assists in 17 matches, making significant contributions in some of their big wins. It has allowed him to not only make it back to the England national squad, but also keep Ollie Watkins, the fellow international player, on the substitute bench of Aston Villa more often than not.

I am so happy with him. He is performing very well: Unai Emery on Marcus Rashford

While the loan deal of Marcus Rashford at Aston Villa is set to expire at the end of the season, his current contract with Manchester United is until 2028. Although the Englishaman might make his return to the Red Devils for the next season, the sources close to the player and the recent development, as per the report from BBC Sport, state that there isn’t an obvious way back for him in the regular matchday squads at the club.

Prior to Marcus Rashford moving to Aston Villa on a loan deal, Ruben Amorim was quoted as saying about him, “I couldn't get Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it.” Moreover, after his recent performances at Villa Park, the 27-year-old is looking for a potential move at the club which can provide him UEFA Champions League football next season, and it shouldn’t be in London.

Moreover, Unai Emery, the manager of Aston Villa, remarked about the Englishman, “I am so happy with him. He is performing very well. His adaptation has been quick and his commitment to the process is really important for us and for him. He needs to keep going and on Saturday, hopefully he can help again.”
