Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad took a hilarious dig at Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) during an event. The opening batter made his appearance as a guess in an event as shown in a viral video. However, the details of the event are not available yet. During the event, Ruturaj was present at the stage with the mic but his mic was mistakenly turned out by the sound guy.
Reacting to this, the show anchor jokingly said "How can you turn off Ruturaj's mic.” In reply, Ruturaj said “might be someone from RCB” which erupted a huge laughter among all the guests and audience present at that event. Notably, CSK and RCB share a very exciting rivalry in the IPL and their fans also don’t leave any chance to troll each other on social media.
RCB knocked CSK out in IPL 2024
Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru were last seen taking on each other during the league match of IPL 2024 in Bengaluru on May 18. It turned out to be a virtual knockout for both the teams to make it into the playoffs. With so much at stake, RCB went on to defeat the five–time champions and knocked them out of the league stage to qualify for the playoffs. This win was very special for all RCB fans as they won their last six matches consecutively and made it into the top four against all odds.
However, there was also so much controversy related to that game as MS Dhoni went in to the dressing room without shaking hands with the opponents. After the match,, the fans of both the teams also started trolling each other on social media starting a new rivalry off the field. Notably, both CSK and RCB will be seen locking horns again in IPL 2025.
