On this day in 2011, India was all lit as MS Dhoni’s match winning six helped the side win their second ICC trophy. The MS Dhoni-led side lifted the ODI World up at the Wankhede Stadium after beating Sri Lanka. To add more nostalgia to this memory which etched in every Indian fans heart, the legend of the game once again brought the old memories alive.
During the practice session ahead of Chennai Super Kings’ second match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the skipper in MS Dhoni recreated the winning moment at the Chepauk Stadium. MS Dhoni recreated that iconic six in the net session at Chepauk on the eve of their match against LSG.

This moment not only brought the old memories of the players, but the fans also joined in this frenzy. After the Chennai Super Kings shared the video captioning, “When nostalgia hits!” with emojis, fans too left no stone unturned.
