India is all set to lock horns with New Zealand in a three-match T20I series, starting January 27 in Ranchi. In a big update, it has been reported that former India skipper MS Dhoni will attend the first T20I between India and New Zealand at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

According to sources, Ranchi which is the legend’s hometown will be seen at the stadium for the first T20I. Earlier, pictures of MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya recreating the scene from Bollywood movie Sholay went viral on the internet. The skipper of the shortest format Hardik Pandya also shared the images with MS Dhoni with the caption reading, “Sholay 2 coming soon”.

MS Dhoni starts practice session ahead of IPL 2023
It is to be noted that the legend in MS Dhoni has already begun his preparations for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League. Said to be his last season in the IPL, MS Dhoni was recently captured practicing in the nets. The video of the same has also surfaced on the internet.
However, the dates of the tournament is yet to be finalised, if reports are to be believed, the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will commence either from March 31 or April 1, 2023.
